Sweetie, you weren't with me for very long, and I never did get to see your face. I know that you are up there taking care of me and daddy, that you are up in heaven having fun. I imagine you are playing with your grandparents, learning to ice skate, baking cookies, playing with all the animals. Even though I know you are in the most wonderful place,I can't help but wish you were here with us.
You will always be loved.
A Child Loaned

rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...

as time goes by with outyou
and days turn into tears,
they hold so many memories,
and so many years
Our Baby Angel
We know that God sends angels down to earth, from up above.
For, we were sent a precious one to bless our home with love.
Our darling little angel filled our hearts with such delight!
But then, without a warning, life became an endless night.
Who could predict that SIDS would take away our baby’s life
And how could we recover from such heartache, pain, and strife?
We begged the Lord to show us why our baby had to go.
For, we were not prepared to suffer such a crushing blow.
The Lord told us He loved us, as He gently dried our tears,
And said He would be with us, and would take away our fears.
He said He took our angel from the earth to lead the way
And, when we go to Heaven, we will meet again, some day.
He said our baby’s waiting in that home on Heaven’s shore
And, some day, we can clasp our angel close forevermore.
Sometimes, we get discouraged and our tears, oft’ times, still flow.
But, that we’ll hold our angel in our arms once more, we know!

you make us all so very proud
you are a twinkle of the sky
lighting up the star laterns very high
Heaven only calls those special girls and boys
to paint the rainbows and make cloud toys
the shapes they form, where made by you
and all the angels called early too
